Robot ‘wag kang magturo! - Barbers

Iginiit kahapon ni re-electionist Sen. Robert "Bobby" Barbers na si Abu Sayyaf leader Ghalib Andang alias Kumander Robot ay papanagutin sa kanyang mga kasalanan sa batas at huwag magturo ng sinuman upang mailigtas ang kanyang sarili.

Ginawa ni Barbers, tagapangulo ng Senate committee on public order and illegal drugs ang pahayag matapos maipataw ang not guilty plea sa mga kasong rebelyon laban kay Robot nang ito ay mag-alok bilang state witness laban sa kanyang grupo at kay Muslim leader Nur Misuari.

Inakusahan niya si Misuari na utak ng serye ng mga terorismo sa Mindanao lalo na ang kidnap for ransom operation na naging resulta ng negatibong imahe ng bansa sa pagbaka sa terorismo.

"The strategy of Robot is preposterous. He is trying to muddle the issue and try to link the MILF and the MNLF with terrorist and bandit style activities. The Abu Sayyaf is nothing more than an extreme kidnap for ransom terrorist group responsible for embarrasing the image of our country to the international community as a haven for terrorists and they must pay a heavy price for what they have done to their victims and to the Filipino people as well," dagdag ng Mindanao solon.
