PSN editor-in- chief bagong NPC vice presidente

Pormal na iprinoklama kahapon ng umaga ni Court of Appeals Justice Ramon Mabutas, chairman ng Commission on Election ng National Press Club, si Al Pedroche, Editor-in-Chief ng Pilipino STAR Ngayon, bilang nanalong vice president, kasama ang iba pang bagong halal na opisyales matapos ang ginanap na botohan kamakalawa sa NPC Bldg., Magallanes Drive, Intramuros, Maynila.

Si Pedroche na kabilang sa SAGIP-Tri-Media Party ay dalawang beses na naging direktor ng NPC at Chairman ng NPC-Committee on Moral Recovery nitong nakalipas na termino ni president Antonio Antonio ng Manila Bulletin. Siya ay nakapuntos ng 425 votes na nakalalamang sa kanyang dalawang kalaban.

Bukod kay Pedroche, pormal ding prinoklama sina Louie Logarta, nagwaging pangulo (Philippine Daily Tribune); Roman Floresca, Secretary (Philippine Star); Jim Bilasano, Treasurer (Phil. Broadcasting System); Sanny Galvez, Auditor (Manila Bulletin); at mga Directors Mandy Francisco (ABS-CBN); Jimmy Cheng (United Daily News/RP Daily Exposé); Willy Caliwan (Balita); Lolit Rivera-Acosta (Manila Standard); Delfin Perez (Mla. Bulletin); Amor Virata (Remate); Fred Roxas (Mla. Bulletin); Mitos Garcia (RP Daily Exposé); Dennis Fetalino (People’s Journal) at Atty. Ric Valmonte (Balita).

Sinabi ni Jo Capadocia, nagsilbing isa sa mga Commissioner ng NPC-Comelec na kinuha nila si CA Justice Mabutas bilang Chairman upang maging malinis at patas ang eleksyon dahil sa agam-agam ng mga kumakandidato na nagkakaroon ng dayaan dito. (Mga ulat nina Ellen Fernando,Rudy Andal at Andi Garcia)
