Unahon nato ang bad news ha… The bad news is, Monkeypox is contagious. The good news? It’s not as easily transmittable as COVID.
Per WHO, “Monkeypox virus is transmitted from one person to another by close contact with lesions, body fluids, respiratory droplets and contaminated materials such as bedding.” Our current precautions for COVID may also be helpful in keeping Monkeypox at bay. Plus upping our hygienic practices and really getting to know the people we’re in close contact with. Palayo sa ta’s mga gipanghilantan ug naay mga rashes. As always, better safe than sorry.
