Dear Shen,

There’s a fine line between pakikipag-plastikan and learning to get along.  Master it.  Don’t be rude but don’t be overly enthusiastic either.   Di man gud ta kapili sa atong paryente.  Nya kitang mga Pinoy, most of our families are close-knit.  Manggi-kita gyud ta.  Treat them with respect gihapon.  But stay at a safe enough distance.  Ayaw pud pakig-close sa mga dili gyud nimo feel.  Kana, plastikan na na.
