GSP to add 600 condo units to Cebu portfolio
CEBU, Philippines — Gothong Southern Properties (GSP) is building over 600 condominium units to add to Cebu’s portfolio of affordable residential demand.
Called the Yello City @Salinas (YCS), the company known for its success in shipping, and hospitality sectors, will build a four to five mid-rise towers in an integrated community located in Salinas Drive Extension, Lahug, Cebu City.
The company’s first entry to residential development is designed for professionals, artists, young families, entrepreneurs, retirees, and the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) markets.
In an interview with GSP business development officer Ronald Versaga, he said the entire project is scheduled for completion by 2029.
At present, the company is building the first tower, which will offer a total of 117 residential condominium units. Versaga reported that the property is already 30 percent sold two months after the units were opened to the market.
According to Versaga, with the encouraging sales performance, “we are pushing for the launching of the second and third building.”
Focused with its unique selling propositions “You Connect, You Create, You Commune,” the company vowed to build a quality, yet affordable homes situated within Cebu’s business district.
YCS units are pegged as low as P2.5 million. The future community will be designed to promote creativity, sustainability, connectivity, and convenience.
Versaga said with the company’s success in operating a hospitality business—the Yello Hotel, YCS will build a hotel-like lobby with a coffee nook and concierge services.

YCS Building 1 is a key component of the expansive 8,299-square-meter YCS project, marking a significant addition to Cebu City’s real estate landscape. The company shifted from initially positioning it as a “township development” to purely residential to cater to a wider market, Versaga added.
