Reklamo batok kang Garcia gibasura sa Ombudsman
CEBU, Philippines — Gibasura sa Ombudsman Visayas ang reklamo nga usurpation of authority ug illegal dismissal nga gipasaka sa kanhi pangulo sa Office for Senior Citizens Affairs nga si Homer Mariano Cabaral batok kang Mayor Raymond Alvin Garcia, Department of Interior and Local Government-7 Director Leocadio Trovela, City Administrator Kristine Joyce Batucan ug sa pangu sa Human Resource Development Office nga si Henry Tomalabcad.
Si Cabaral nipasangil nga ilegal ang gibuhat ni Garcia sa pagpapha kaniya sa katungdanan isip executive assistant sa OSCA.
Lakip si Cabaral sa 10 ka empleyado sa city hall nga napupos ang co-terminus appointment human nga nipagawas ang Ombudsman og perpetual disqualification batok kang kanhi mayor Michael Rama niadtong Oktubre 2024.

“This ruling affirms the legitimacy of my authority as mayor and upholds the rule of law in our city’s governance. As public servants, we must recognize that co-terminus positions are tied to the tenure of the appointing authority”, ni Garcia.
Si Garcia niawhag nga irespeto ang hukom sa Ombudsman ug ipadayon ang buhat panggobiyerno a city hall.
Matud ni Garcia nga ang dismissal sa reklamo ni Cabaral nagpasabot usab kini sa kabalido sa dismissal order batok kang Rama.
“An order that he has refused to acknowledge, claiming it is not yet in effect because he has not personally received a copy. The Ombudsman’s ruling contradicts this argument, reinforcing that the legal process has already been completed and is fully enforceable”, dugang ni Garcia. (BANAT NEWS)
