Simula sa Marso 20, ang beteranong mamamahayag at award-winning na documentarist na si Howie Severino ay malalim na magsasaliksik sa nakaraan at kasalukuyan ng bansa sa pamamagitan ng kumbinasyon ng pagsasalaysay at mga insightful na panayam sa pamamagitan ng limitadong serye ng podcast na Howie Severino Presents.

Binuo ng GMA Integrated News Digital Strategy and Innovation Lab (DigiLab), ang Howie Severino Presents ay isang rebrand mula sa unang orihinal at award-winning na podcast ng GMA Integrated News, The Howie Severino Podcast, na inilunsad noong 2021.

Fresh episodes drop every Thursday on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and all GMA Integrated News’ streaming platforms.

For its first season, “Howie Severino Presents: Moments in Election History” features several highlights from Philippine election history. Howie centers the discussions on the 1987 Tejeros Convention, the history of women’s right to vote, and  the youthful 1952 campaign of Ramon Magsaysay, in particular his hit campaign jingle Mambo Magsaysay.

“We want to enrich the news coverage of the election campaign by providing context, digging deep into the past to show how our elections have evolved. In a series of episodes, we will be featuring several highlights from Philippine election history,” shares Severino.
