Si Durano ni-file kini og electoral protest ngadto sa House of Representatives Electoral Tribubal (HRET) alang sa manual recount sa mga boto sa kinto distrito.
“To claim that the votes cast for the protestee increased, further the lead, and won against the protestant is misleading. On the contrary, the protestant is gaining votes due to manual counting notwithstanding that there were wet ballots that are yet to be counted when the HRET decrypts the ballots or uses the digital images of the ballots,”dugang pamahayag sa kampo ni Durano. “The election protest has not yet reached its end and the determination of it is still pending with the HRET,” tipik sa pamahayag.
