CEBU, Philippines — Nagtapok ang 20 ka eksperto gikan sa nagkadaiyang nasud sa Uropa, Asya ug sa Pasipiko aron hisgutan ang epektibo nga solusyon base sa ilang kasinatian sa biodiversity conservation financing.
Usa kini ka paagi aron masirad-an ang gintang sa mga butang nga angayan alang sa pagkonserbar sa kinaiyahan ug unsa nga butang nga mahatag niini.

“With significantly increased fiscal space and very high levels of domestic liquidity, financing for biodiversity should not be a challenge in middle income countries like the Philippines," asoy ni UNDP Country Director Titon Mitra.
“We perhaps more readily appreciate the aesthetic value of biodiversity and less well appreciate the wealth that can be created from the genetic resources and ecosystem values of well managed biodiversity areas,” dugang ni Mitra.
