Walo ka bata gibugaw naluwas
CEBU, Philippines — Nasikop ang 31-anyos nga babaye sa entrapment operation human giingong namugaw og mga batang babaye ngadto sa mga pedophiles pinaagi sa online sa Barangay Cansojong, Dakbayan sa Talisay niadtong Huwebes sa hapon.
Naluwas sa maong operasyon ang walo ka batang babaye nga nag-edad pa lang og tres-anyos ngadto sa 17-anyos.
Gitago sa International Justice Mission ang maong dinakpan sa pangalang Maricel, usa ka kanhi call center agent.
Sumala pa sa IJM nga inabagan sa PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group 7, nga sulod sa usa ka buwang imbestigasyon, nakompirmar nga nalambigit gyud sa maong krimen si Maricel nunot sa mga gipangpadala niining mga malaw-ay nga video sa mga bata.
Atol sa entrapment operation, giingong nitanyag si Maricel ngadto sa usa ka langyaw nga anaa sa online og live show sa tulo sa maong mga bata nga nag-edad og 10,14 ug 17.
“ACG-7’s operation in Talisay City shows that multiple law enforcement units are actively investigating and arresting suspects of online sexual exploitation in Cebu. It’s high time that people respect the inherent dignity and worth of Filipino children and stop treating children like sex ‘commodities’ or products to be sold online to the highest bidder. They should stop either out of compassion for the children or at least to avoid being arrested, prosecuted and sent to prison,” sigun pa ni IJM–Cebu Field Office Director John Tanagho.
