NPA gisaway sa AFP sa Western Visayas

CEBU, Philippines - Gikondenar sa Philippine Army sa Western Visayas nga nagbase sa Camp Peralta  sa Jamindan, Capiz ang gihulagway nilang dayag nga paglapas sa mga rebelde sa Comprehensive Agreement on Respect for Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law (CARHRIHL).

Niadtong Disyembre 30, 2013,  gipusil patay ang lider sa karibal nga grupo sa mga rebelde diha sa Western Visayas nga si Demetrio Capilastique nga mas naila nga “Hugo.” Si Capilastique gipusil patay diha sa  barangay Linaywan, Badiangan, Iloilo  sa mga sakop sa Sparu Unit sa NPA.  Si alias “Hugo” sakop sa karibal nilang grupo nga Revolutionary Proletarian Army-Alex Boncayao Brigade (RPA-ABB) sa Panay island.

 â€œThis is an inhumane act of the NPA, against the law hence, cannot be justified.  Any issue against Capilastique should be brought to the proper court and let him answer to our proper judicial system. While they (CNN) took responsibility for the killing, they should bring those culprits from within their ranks to the courts of law,” sumala pa ni Brigadier General Arnold Quiapo, nga maoy kumander sa 301st Brigade sa gipadalang pamahayag dinhi sa Banat News.

 Giangkon sa Communist Party of the Philippines-New Peoples Army-National Democratic Front of the Philippines (CNN) ang pagpatay pinaagi sa gipagawas nga statement.

Si Hugo gihukman sa CPP-NPA tungod sa mga pasangil nga kalapasan sa ilang kawsa  ilawom sa ‘NPA court system’ nga mas naila nga “Kangaroo court,” usa na niini ang pagbuwag ni Hugo ug mga kaubanan sa RPA-ABB sa NPA sa Panay niadtong  1994.

Niadtong Enero 25, 2013,  usa ka ranking leader  gihapon sa RPA-ABB nga si Joven Tababa ang gipusil patay sa mga NPA sa Tigbauan, Iloilo. Matud pa sa pamahayag sa militar giangkon gihapon sa CNN ang maong pagpatay.

Pagkasunod adlaw, Enero 26, 2013 , usa ka Gina Genilan Gestalao alias Neneng, 35-anyos, asawa sa kanhi sakop sa RPA-ABB  nga taga Bulho, San Joaquin, Iloilo, ang gipusil patay sa mga NPA.

Matud sa militar ang pag-atake sa mga sibilyan sa NPA tataw nga kalapasan sa CARHRIHL nga diin usa ang CPP/NPA/NDFP sa mga signatory.  “These unlawful killings and blatant violation of human rights and the international humanitarian law of the NPA must be stopped. The democratic government and the Filipino people want a justice system that is not served through killings,” matud pa usab ni Major General Aurelio Baladad, commander 3rd Infantry Division.

Giawhag karon ni Balabad ang mga NPA nga hunongon na ang paghamok og kagubot ug ibutang ang ilang armas ug biyaan ang armadong pakiggubat ug motabang sa pagpalambo sa ilang mga lugar.

“Our bayanihan efforts to bring peace and development in the countryside will continue as we start the year. We call on the public to be vigilant and let us work together in addressing the challenges of peace,” matud pang Baladad.  (BANAT NEWS)
