The National Bureau of Investigation is pushing through with its probe today on Vice President Sara Duterte’s threat to have President Marcos, the First Lady and Speaker Martin Romualdez assassinated, even if she does not show up, NBI Director Jaime Santiago said yesterday.

Police officers being threatened with kidnapping and robbery charges by Vice President Sara Duterte “were simply executing a lawful directive from the House of Representatives” when they helped move her chief of staff Zuleika Lopez from St. Luke’s Medical Center to Veterans Memorial Medical Center last Nov. 23, the Philippine National Police said yesterday.
