MANILA, Philippines — Itutuloy nina Pinay5 team manager Daniel Moran at coach Vic Hermans ang pagsuporta sa national women’s futsal team.

Ito ay sa kabila na rin ng paglilipat ng Philippine Football Federation (PFF) kay Hermans sa national men’s futsal squad kamakailan.

“The girls sacrificed years of commitment. We can’t let them down. We will fight for them,” ani Moran, ang chairman ng The Henry V. Moran Foundation na isang organisasyon na tumutulong sa mga football players mula sa mahihirap na pamayanan.

Binuksan ng women’s futsal team ang kanilang four-day training camp sa Tuloy sa Don Bosco Foundation sa Muntinlupa City noong Sabado.

Ito ay bilang preparas­yon ng tropa para sa 2025 FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup na pamamahalaan ng bansa sa Nob­yembre.

Nag-ensayo ang 12 sa 14 players sa pangunguna ni team captain Isabella Bandoja na nauna nang nagbanta na magbibitiw sa national team kung papalitan ng PFF si Hermans.

Mananatili rin sa Pi­nay5 sina Agot Danton, Jada Louise Bicierro, Erissa Rivas, Kaycee Nañola, J­oanna Viga, Angelica Teves, Lanie Ortillo, Louraine Evangelista, Mykaella Abeto, Demely Rollon at Althea Rebosura.

“We remain committed to nurturing the futsal pla­yers who have dedicated immense sacrifice and effort to their growth and future. These players are true p­atriots and they will not only represent our nation with pride but will also inspire countless grassroots children as role models,” ani Moran.

Nagbigay din ng suporta si dating PFF president Mariano “Nonong” Araneta sa Pinay5 bilang pagpapahalaga sa mga ginawang sakripisyo nina Moran at Hermans para sa kanilang programa.

“We recognize the hard work and sacrifices that The Henry V. Moran Foundation had put in for the development of futsal in the country,” ani Araneta na miyembro rin ng International Football Federation (FIFA) Council.
