Jaque gitudlong consultant kabahin sa drainage flood control
CEBU, Philippines — Gitudlo isip consultant sa kagamhanan sa Dakbayan sa Sugbo kabahin sa drainage, flood control ug storm water management ang kanhi technical resource person sa Task Force Gubat sa Baha nga si Dr. Danilo Jaque.
Gikuha ni Mayor Raymond Alvin Garcia si Jaque tungod kay usa kini ka PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) sa civil engineering nga adunay specialization sa water engineering sa University of New South Wales sa Sydney, Australia.
Gawas niini, aduna usab kini lapad nga kasinatian sa pagdesinyo sa drainage ug flood control structures sa pipila ka mga local government unit ug pribado nga mga developer sa pipila ka bahin sa nasud.
Nagsilbi sab nga team leader si Jaque sa Metro Cebu Drainage Master Plan sa DPWH niadtong tuig 2016, Mandaue City Urban Drainage Master Plan niadtong tuig 2019 ug lakip sa technical team sa Cebu City Master Plan niadtong tuig 2006.
“This qualification and his experience as well as his passion to help solve the flooding problem, I highly recommend. The city will engage him as part of our pool of consultants”, matud ni Garcia.
“Magtinabangay lang gyud ta to solve this flooding problem. With his technical know-how the city will be given proper guidance in addressing our problems. We thank him for accepting his new role as consultant of the City of Cebu”, ni Garcia pa.
Sa iyan bahin, si Jaque nagpasalamat ngadto sa mayor. “I am happy the mayor has finally recognized the need of somebody to help the city kay the problems in the city are urgent”, ni Jaque pa.
Unang tahas ni Jaque mao ang pagbutang og “water retention pond” sa Family Park nga anaa nahimutang sa Sitio Nasipit, Barangay Talamban. Tumong sa maong retention pond mao ang paghatag og kasulbaran sa pagbaha sa Barangay Banilad ug Barangay Talamban sa higayon nga mobunok ang uwan. (BANAT NEWS)
