CCENRO: 23 ka punoan sa kahoy wala makabalda
CEBU, Philippines — Ang konseho sa Dakbayan sa Sugbo wala mo uyon sa aplikasyon sa pagputol sa 23 ka punoan sa kahoy diha sa dalan A.S. Fortuna sa Barangay Banilad niining siyudad.
Ang Cebu City Environment and Natural Resource (CCENRO) nisusi sa lugar ug nagkanayon nga wala sila’y nakita nga ang mga punoan sa kahoy nakahatag og hulga sa mga motorista.
Si Cebu City Councilor, chairman sa committee on environment niduso kini og motion nga giaprobahan sa konseho sa siyudad.
Matud ni Garganera nga ang iyang motion nagsagop sa inspection report sa CCENRO nga gi-endorso ngadto sa konseho atol sa regular session niadtong Miyerkules, Hunyo 5, 2024.
Base sa report sa CCENRO nga adunay petsa nga Mayo 21, 2024 giingong ang inspection nga gipahigayon naggumikan kini sa aplikasyon sa Prevention Restoration, Order, Beautification and Enhancement (PROBE) South ug gipirmahan sa executive director niini nga si Kevin Anthony Sanchez.
Ang aplikasyon sa pagputol sa mga kahoy nadawat sa CCENRO niadtong Mayo 5, 2024 kinsa ang PROBE nangayo sa ilang tabang aron matubag ang isyu kabahin sa mga punoan sa kahoy nga niturok diha sa center island sa A.S. Fortuna, Barangay Banilad ug giingong nakahatag kini og peligro sa mga pedestrian ug motorista.
“I have observed that certain trees on the center island have grown to a point where they are obstructing visibility and potentially posing risks to both pedestrians and motorists”, tipik sa maong suwat.
