Tuition sa tukuron nga city college abagahon sa gobiyerno

CEBU, Philippines — Abagahon sa nasudnong kagamhanan ang tuition sa mga tinun-an sa Cebu City College.

Kini ang gipasalig ni J Prospero "Popoy" De Vera III, chairman sa Commission on Higher Education ngadto ni Cebu City Mayor Edgardo Labella. Magtanyag ang CCC og upat ka tuig nga programa sa solid waste management, environmental management, water system, flood control, nutritional science, hospital administration, traffic system ug nursing.

Ang duha ka tuig nga mga programa sa vocational gitanyag usab sama sa welding, caregiving, hotel and service management and sustainable farming and robotics.

“This will pave way for our people to have access to education whether technical, vocational or academic education. So I hope the council will understand our sincere efforts that once and for all by all means we should have our own city college,” matud ni Labella

Isip national chairman sa League of Cities of the Philippines (LCP), gihisgutan ni Labella nga sa usa sa ilang mga tigum natingala ang ubang mayor nga walay city college ang Cebu ug dili sama sa tanang siyudad sa Metro Manila.

“It is long overdue. That’s why I appeal to the council to please take an objective look on this,” matud ni Labella.
