Ordinansa pagtubag sa unemployment giduso
CEBU, Philippines - Sa tinguhang mamenusan pa ang problema sa kakuwang sa oportunidad nga makatrabaho ang mga “unskilled†ug “semi-skilled labor†sa siyudad sa Sugbo, kinahanglan na nga modawat og 20 porsiyento nga unskilled workers ug 10 porsiyento ang tanang project contractors sa siyudad. Ang maong sugyot giduso ni City Councilor Alvin Dizon nga tawgong “Barangay Employment Ordinance.â€
Si Dizon kinsa maoy vice-chairman sa committee on labor and employment sa Konseho sa siyudad nagtuo nga pinaagi sa maong ordinansa mamenusan pa ang problema sa kakulang sa trabaho.
“All private contractors, including subcontractors, to whom public works projects have been awarded as well as those undertaking private contracts will be required to hire at least 20% of unskilled/semi-skilled labor and 10% of the skilled labor requirements for every project to be taken from the available bona fide qualified residents of the barangay wherein the projects are to be undertaken,†matud pa sa ordinansahon. Ang konseho miduso na sa maong ordinansahon ngadto sa committee on laws nga gipangulohan ni Konsehal Sisinio Andales alang sa pagtuon ug rekomendasyon.
