CEBU, Philippines - Ang Cebu Provincial Police Office (CPPO) mihimo karon og threat assessment human sa giingong assassination plot batok kang Third District Congresswoman Gwendolyn Garcia ug sa iyahang anak nga si Atty. Christina Garcia Codilla-Frasco.

Si Sr. Supt. Noel Gillamac, direktor sa CPPO, mibutyag nga ila karon nga gipangita ang pulis nga matud pa anaa madestino sa CPPO ug maoy mihatag sa maong impormasyon ngadto kang Garcia ug Frasco.

Sa pagkakaron si Gillamac nagdumili sa pagluwat og inisyal nga pamahayag nga may kalabot sa ilang imbestigasyon.

“The threat was through text message and directed towards Garcia and Frasco,” matud ni Gillamac.

Ang Provincial Intelligence Branch (PIB) gitahasan na usab sa pagkompirmar sa report ug pag-monitor sa mga lungsod sa Tuburan ug Liloan. Ang CPPO nagpaabot usab karon sa letter request gikan kang Garcia kung gikinahanglan niini ang security details.

“We are willing to provide at least two (security details) if there is a request but for Frasco we can only provide area security for the meantime,” matud ni Gillamac.
