CEBU, Philippines - Sa katapusan, gipahibalo kagahapon sa Regional Wage Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board-VII nga dunay "supervening conditions" o basehan nga padak-an ang minimum wage sa mga mamumuo sa rehiyon.

Tungod niini hayan atimanon na unya sa board ang duha ka mga gipasakang petisyon sa duha ka labor groups nga nangayo og dugang suhulan.

Niadtong Septiyembre 22, 2011 gimando sa RTWPB ang usbaw sa suholan, base sa balaod dili mahimong makapasaka og usbaw sa suholan sulod sa usa ka tuig gawas lang kung dunay makitang "supervening conditions" sama sa grabeng pagmahal sa presyo sa lana, batakang palaliton ug serbisyo.

“Mao napugos gyud nato ang wage board sa pag deklarar sa supervening conditions kay klaro gyud nga adunay pagsaka sa inflation rate ug consumer price index,” matud pang Tomongha.  

Diha sa tigom kagahapon ang mga representante sa nagkadaiyang sektor nga sila si Atty. Ernesto Carreon (labor representative), Atty. Hedelito Pascual (management representative),   Buenaventura Gosoco (regional director sa National Economic Development Administration ug vice chairman sa board) ug Gloria Tango (regional director sa Department of Labor and Employment kinsa maoy chairman sa board).

Wala diha sila si Charles Streegan (management representative) ug Asteria Caberte (regional director sa Department of Trade and Industry). Ang Associated Labor Unions-Trade Union Congress of the Philippines mipetisyon og dugang P90 matag adlaw sa suholan samtang ang Alliance for Progressive Labor nangayo usab og P121.84 nga usbaw.
