Silot sa hazing pabug-atan

CEBU, Philippines - Usa ka balaudnon ang gipasa ngadto sa Kongreso nga nagtinguhang pabug-atan pa ang silot batok niadtong magpasiugda og hazing.

“We welcome this new development. As we welcome RA 8049 (Anti-Hazing Law) Alpha Sigma Omega has always been so supportive with the Anti-Hazing Law. There are several ways to test loyalty and brotherhood and hazing is not an option. Since the implementation of RA8094, we absolutely abolished hazing as a part of our ritual. Instead we require our acolytes to render genuine public service since it is also the thrust of the organization,” matud pa ni Salonoy.

“The government should have done this long time ago, but its not too late. As a SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) registered fraternity, we welcome this development and the Alpha Sigma Omega will cast its support to eliminate this ‘evil’ in fraternity and the ‘unreasonable’ test of brotherhood,” butyag pa ni Salonoy.
