Concha sa Calamba maoy daog sa recount

Si Concha miprotesta sa kadaugan ni Victor Quijano isip kapitan sa Calamba ug mipasangil nga adunay nahitabong pagpanikas sa pag-ihap sa botos hinungdan sa gihimong recount sa mga balota.

 “The protestant strongly and vehemently contests the election of the said prostestee on the ground that subject election was marred or attended with fraud, manipulation and cheating committed,” tipik sa desisyon.

Sa gipahigayong recount migawas nga labaw og 39 ka botos si Concha batok kang Quijano.

“ In sum, after the revision, recount and appreciation of all the contested ballots, the total votes garnered by the Protestant Esther G. Concha is Two Thousand five /hundred Thirty Nine (2,539) votes, as against the protestee, Victor B. Quijano of Two Thaousand Five Hundred (2,500) votes, ” tipik desisyon.

Lakip sa desisyon ni Tecson ang kamandoang pagbayad ni Quijano og P10 mil isip attorneys fee ug laing P5 mil isip litigation expenses ug cost of suit ngadto ni Concha.

Samtang ang legal counsel ni Quijano nga si Atty. Carlo Fortuna mihangyo unta sa korte nga dili una ipahigayon ang promulgation karung adlawa tungod kay aduna pa silay pending certiorari sa korte suprema.

Apan si Presiding judge Tecson mibutyag nga kun dili siya mopahigayon sa promulgation karung adlawa posibling makiha siya og administratiba tungod kay dili niya masunod ang mando sa Comelec nga ipatuman ang promulgation.

“I can be cited a contempt by the Comelec or they might file an administrative case against me,” pasabot pa ni Tecson.
