13 Atimonan rubout cops kinasuhan ng multiple murder

MANILA, Philippines – Multiple murder ang kasong kakaharapin ng 13 pulis na sangkot sa Atimonan rubout sa probinsya ng Quezon noong Enero.

Sinabi ng Department of Justice (DOJ) sa kanilang Twitter account na nirekomenda nilang sampahan ng multiple murder si Supt. Hansel Marantan at 12 iba pa.

Inirekomenda rin ng DOJ ang paghain ng kasong obstruction of justice laban kina Senior Inspector John Paolo Carracedo and Lt. Rico Tagure.

"Pursuant to said findings,the DOJ Panel recommended that the corresponding Informations be filed against the respondents (in Atimonan case)," sabi ng DOJ sa kanilang Twitter.

Inihain ang mga reklamo sa 13 pulis sa Gumaca Regional Trial Court sa Quezon.

Sina Marantan ang umano’y nasa likod ng pamamaril sa ilang personalidad kabilang ang jueteng kingpin na si Vic Siman noong Enero 6.

Lumabas sa imbestigasyon ng National Bureau of Investigation na rubout ang nangyari at hindi shootout taliwas sa sinasabi ng tropa ni Marantan.
