Binay napikon sa 'pakikialam' ng Taguig POSO sa lungsod

MANILA, Philippines – Hindi ikinatuwa ni Makati Mayor Junjun Binay ang magkasunod na “pankikialam” ng mga tauhan ng the Taguig Public Order and Safety Office (POSO) sa lungsod.

Napabalitang inatake ng 50 kalalakihang may suot na “I Love Taguig” na T-shirt ang isang police mobile nitong MIyerkules ng gabi sa sangandaan ng Lawton Street at Kalayaan Avenue.

Nito lamang ay namataan ang ilang kalalakihang may suot rin ng “I Love Taguig” T-shirts na nagbabaklas ng mga banner na may nakalagay na “Welcome to Makati BGC” sa Kalayaan na hindi na sakop ng Taguig City.

Dagdag sa ulat ng lungsod na armado ang mga nasabing kalalakihan.

“I cannot help but express my dismay and frustration over the actions of these Taguig personnel. You do not win an argument with intimidation and Gestapo tactics,” pahayag ni Binay.

“Can they explain why public safety personnel would be so bold as to gang up on policemen? They are showing total disregard for the law and our law enforcers,” dagdag niya.

Dahil dito ay nagbabala ang alkalde na hindi na niya ito palalampasin.

“They are sowing panic in our barangays. They have no right to be in Makati. This will not be tolerated.”

Nitong Agosto 5 ay kinatigan ng Court of Appeals ang apela ng Makati City na sakop nila ang Fort Bonifacio o mas kilala sa tawag na Bonifacio Global City.

Pero ayaw pang bumitiw ni Taguig Mayor Lani Cayetano at sinabing hindi pa naman final at executory ang desisyon ng CA.

"Let's make it very clear that the decision is not yet final and executory. Taguig will continue to exercise its jurisdiction over Fort Bonifacio," pahayag ni Cayetano.
