MANILA, Philippines - The spouses of the heads of state visiting the country for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit will take home a token of appreciation from the Philippines.

Designed by Manila-based designer Ito Kish, each first lady will receive the Kristina Bukid Set, which includes eight cups & saucers with design details of Philippine rural life showcasing the bahay kubo, carabao and coconut tree.

The cups and saucers, made from fine bone china, shows Kish's appreciation for Philippine creativity.

Meanwhile, Kenneth Cobonpue was tasked to come up with souvenir tokens for the 21 Economic Leaders.

Kenneth calls the souvenir tokens to be given to the Economic Leaders "sama-sama," which means together in English.

The limited edition sculptures represent unity, partnership and cooperation among the member economies.
