SIA, People Asia bare photo tilt winners
MANILA, Philippines - Thanks to Singapore Airlines (SIA) and People Asia’s “My Picture-Perfect Moment with SIA A380” photo contest, three lucky travelers Ramiro Morales Cruz (1st prize), May Gue Yao (2nd prize) and Merlene Jaurigue Marcelo (3rd prize) are going to travel again, for free!
Cruz, the first-prize winner, won a free economy class round-trip ticket (equivalent to 70,000 Krisflyer miles) to Zurich, Paris or London on the A380. “Flying SIA A380 has indeed redefined long-haul flights into delightful journeys my family looks forward to,” he says in his official entry. “(SIA A380 provides) a cozy, spacious nook coupled with efficient, warm and friendly service… like a second home in the skies.”
Yao won one round-trip economy class ticket to Sydney or Melbourne on the A380 (equivalent to 55,000 Krisflyer miles) while Marcelo won one round-trip economy class ticket to Hong Kong via Singapore on the A380 (equivalent to 55,000 Krisflyer miles).
Maria Geraldine Nugraha (4th prize) will take home a special consolation prize.
The panel of judges was composed of SIA general manager Andrew Budiman, SIA manager for marketing communications and services Nenita Dy, Rose Anne Belmonte, People Asia editor-in-chief Joanne Rae Ramirez and general manager Elizabeth Mendoza. The judges chose the four winning entries based on content (35 percent), composition (35 percent) and originality (30 percent).
The official awarding of winners will take place on Sept. 1 at the SIA office, LKG Tower, Ayala Avenue, Makati City.
