The Spring/Summer 07 collections of Chloe, Louis Vuitton and Yves Saint Laurent showcased everything little girls were made of — femininity, romance, sugar, spice and everything nice. The runway models were cutely dressed in the fanciful memory of a girl’s childhood, they all looked like innocent dolls, and some of Yvan Mispelear’s design pieces were actually based on children’s clothing. The usage of soft color palettes, pastels, intricate details and the presence of flowers were definitely in full bloom. Oversized bags, bows and platform shoes were notable accessories in these whimsical collections.
