Think green!
No, I am not talking about dirty jokes and the likes. I am talking about this seasons "IT" color. Tom Ford for YSL Rive Gauches latest collection in emerald, pond and moss green, is sure to make any fashionista drool. This, as well as his designs for Gucci-accessories like a green suede bag with vintage-inspired double G logo or an olive green croc leather bag with the classic horse pin (very Gucci-licious!).
If youre dying to get your all-black wardrobe a color surge, go for green. Sounds cheesy but green is the new red. When choosing accessories, a bright green or emerald is a fitting choice. It adds zest to classic ensemble. When choosing fabric for a dress, try pond, moss or olive green for fair to light skin and brighter greens on darker skin.
Check out WINK store, the ultimate fashion haven of glam gals and urbanites. Its latest collection boasts of jeweled and embroidered cargo pants, cotton blouses, linen skirts and bags with feathers. As you walk in the shop, its like being transported to the movie set of Great Expectations different hues of greens surround you. Greens you can mix and match with your blacks, whites and khakis. Designer Rhett Ealas clever take on the cargo pants is combining satin, rhinestones and embroidery to give this utilitarian piece a glamour appeal. Rhett has always had the knack on what his clients want wearable clothes with fabulous details! Unexpected touches that take your look from good to great! Hes always on the ball on whats hot and what works. Thats why he is one of Manilas most loved designers and a favorite among the stylish crew.
This time around, wear green to invoke our fashion sense with an optimistic mood and hope. Think green because we treasure solace and reassurance rather than distraction and chaos.
