MANILA, Philippines — Creamline showed great resolve in a 25-12, 25-21, 25-19 victory over Nxled Tuesday to stretch its amazing immaculate run to six in the Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference at the PhilSports Arena.

Bernadeth Pons and Tots Carlos served as the Cool Smashers’ battering rams by firing 13 and 10 points, respectively, in just two sets of playing time in helping seal the mighty club’s sixth win in row.

“Bawal mag-relax,” said Creamline setter Kyle Negrito, who was the only player in the team to play all three frames and ended up with 15 excellent sets while chipping in three hits.

The franchise, which is eyeing a record 11th championship, had the luxury of utilizing all its 14 players on the floor, including team captain Alyssa Valdez, who scattered seven points.

“Masaya ako nagdedeliver lagi players namin ‘pag pinapasok sila na magagamit namin sa future games na makalaro lahat ng players,” said Creamline coach Sherwin Meneses.

Negrito said she felt the eagerness of her teammates to help in the cause.

“Sarap ng feeling na lahat ng spikers gustong makakuha ng bola, pumalo at makacontribute,” she said.

The Chameleons sputtered to 0-8.
