ABS-CBN binigyan ng award ang mga sumugpo sa pamimirata

MANILA, Philippines - Ginawaran ng pagkilala ng ABS-CBN’s Head of Global Anti-Piracy Elisha Lawrence ang Xixiang Police Station of Shenzhen Public Security Bureau (PSB) dahil sa ginawa nilang pag-raid kung saan naaresto sina Zhou, Roland Lu, Long Zhao at Yunmin Chen, four major players sa global piracy operation ng pirate streaming box na Filstream.

Tumanggap ng awards sina Police Officers Cui Yang at Yinbo Lin kasama ang kanilang superior, De­puty Chief Police Officer Zuo Yang.

Present din sa nasabing awarding si Yunze Lian, Senior Partner and Head of Patent and Trademark Group of the Hylands Law Firm na siyang kumatawan para sa ABS-CBN at naki­pagtulungan kay Ms. Lawrence at sa Shenzhen Public.

Ayon kay Lawrence, “It was important to ABS-CBN to recognize the excellent work by the Xixiang Police Station of Shenzhen Public Security Bureau.  Without them, the piracy operations of Filstream would have continued to thrive to the detriment of the hardworking people of ABS-CBN who produce the copyrighted content that Filstream illegally streamed.  I was extremely impressed by the Shenzhen PSB’s dedication, professionalism and commitment to law enforcement.
