HD Spikers not yet in peak form, says coach

MANILA, Philippines — Event though his team seized the top spot in Bracket A, Cignal HD Spikers head coach George Pascua stressed that they are far from peaking.
"Hindi pa kasi may mga [kulang] pa kami eh. After nito magbubuhat pa kami," Pascua said after Cignal's 27-25, 25-21, 21-25, 19-25 victory over F2 Logistics in the 2017 PSL All-Filipino Conference at the FilOil Flying-V Centre in San Juan Tuesday.
Cignal scored 59 points in spikes compared to F2's 42 points.
"Yung first two sets, twice na kami natalo ng first set so try naman natin na kunin ‘tong first set," Pascua said.
"Nakuha naman pero sa third set nag-collapse eh," he added
Cignal will face the top two teams in Bracket B (Foton and Generika-Ayala) in the next round
"Lahat ng strong teams nandito sa bracket namin so yung adjustment, madali na lang," Pascua continued.
