PVF beach volleyball on at Cantada’s twin courts

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Volleyball Federation holds its monthly invitational beach volley tournament tomorrow with the Philippine Air Force, Rizal Technological University, University of the Cordilleras and King’s College of La Trinidad taking part at the Cantada Sports Center in Taguig City.

Also in the roster are Benguet, National U, La Salle-Taft, Cebu, Antipolo, Ateneo, UST, Army and Perpetual Help.

Games in the men’s and women’s categories will be played simultaneously on CSC’s two sand courts.

Players from the Bagwis and Amihan are also set to see action in the one-day event.

Complimentary meals and drinks will be served to all participants, officials and guests all day in the by-invitation- only tournament put up by Cantada Sports and the PVF.

PVF’s managing director Otie Camangian is tournament director.

Backing the event are Lucio “Bong” Tan Jr., lawyers Gilberto Duavit and Reginaldo Oben, Oliver Gan, Tanduay, Philippine Flour Mill, Century Park Hotel, Toyota Balintawak, Toyota Otis and Toyota Marilao.
