Sandara at Lee Min Ho balik-‘Pinas!
Sayang at hindi pala magkasabay na darating ng Pilipinas sina Sandara Park, known in Korea now as 2NE1’s Dara, and her fellow Korean star na si Lee Min Ho.
Tulad ni Sandara or Dara, maraming fans na Pilipino si Min Ho. Ang daming Korean movies na nagtatampok sa kanya ang naipalabas na sa Pilipinas.
At ‘di nga ba, sangkatutak na fans niya ang sumalubong when he visited the country last year? In the same way, na ‘di pa rin nakakalimutan si Dara ng kanyang mga following na sumubaybay sa kanyang career noong nandito siya sa Pilipinas at gumagawa ng TV shows at pelikula.
Min Ho and Dara are endorsing two brands of Filipino clothing, the reason why they are visiting the country.
The two are both expected in April but they are reportedly arriving in different dates.
Aiko napagod sa pulitika
Kusang-loob pala ni Aiko Melendez to quit politics, which, hope ng kanyang constituents ay temporary lang, after having served for three terms bilang Konsehal ng second district ng Quezon City.
It will be recalled that Aiko tried na tumakbo for QC Vice Mayor, but failed to win.
These days, decided siya to concentrate on her showbiz career. And happily, ‘di raw siya nababakante. As right now, she is playing a major role in the series, The Story of Us, co-starring her with Kim Chiu and Xian Lim, among others.
She had just appeared in Inday Bote, with Alex Gonzaga, playing the title role, when The Story of Us was offered to her.
She loves daw doing the Story of Us, as flexible ang schedule for her taping sa series. Likewise kasi, gusto rin niyang mag-focus as Mom to her two kids, Andrei, who is now 17 and is scheduled to graduate from high school at the Ateneo de Manila University this year. And Marthena, who is nine.
Andrei, of course, is her son with first husband, Jomari Yllana. Ang ama naman ni Marthena ay ang kilalang chef na si Martin Jickain.
Tulad nga pala nila ni Jom, mag-aartista na rin si Andrei, since he is now a Star Magic talent.
Sid at Jaclyn mag-nanay na rin
Sid Lucero and Jaclyn Jose are playing son and mother in the new series ng GMA 7, The Millionaire’s Wife.
The two somehow are related since Jaclyn’s daughter, Andi Eigenmann, is the half sister of Sid. Both Sid and Andi are the children of the late Mark Gil.
Sid’s Mom is Bing Pimentel.
The Millionaire’s Wife also has in the cast Andrea Torres, Rich Asuncion, Ina Raymundo and veteran actor, Robert Arevalo, plus Mike Tan na may crucial role sa soap.
