Kahit sobrang hectic ng schedule, Angel punong-abala sa birthday ni Luis

Though pagod at medyo puyat, dahil nga she hosted a party for her boyfriend, Luis Manzano, who marked her 34th birthday last April 21, Angel Locsin still reported to her taping the following day, Tuesday, April 22, promptly at nine in the morning, for The Legal Wife, where she plays the title role.

Guess kung saan ang location for the taping? Sa Subic Bay.

Ani Sackey P, one of the heads ng production staff ng The Legal Wife: “Alam naming puyat nga at pagod si Angel. But we have to proceed with the taping.

“For airing the following day ang mga eksenang kukunan sa kanya.

“We have to rush more scenes pa for future airing, lalo pa ang mga eksenang magkasama sila ni Jericho (Rosales, who plays husband). Common knowledge na ikakasal si Jericho on May 1.

“Magha-honeymoon pa siya.”

Of Luis’ party, it’s his first mula noong magkabalikan sila ni Angel, after three years nang maghiwalay sila. It was held sa house ni Luis (and Angel’s future home, too?) in a plush subdivision in Quezon City.

Only their closest friends were invited to the party. As we all know, Luis’ Mom, Batangas Governor Vilma Santos, husband, Sen. Ralph Recto and Luis’ younger brother, Ryan Christian, are in the U.S for their annual vacation.

Actually, si Luis ang naunang nagbigay ng advance birthday party for Angel, who turned a year older today (April 23) at ka-connive niya ang mga loyal fans ng aktres.

Obvious na napatunayan na nina Luis at Angel na, no doubt, love truly is even lovelier the second time around.

Remember Chesca Litton, TV host, who was once linked to Jericho Rosales?

Well, to date, she and Jericho have been quiet about the cause of their break-up. But there was no denying na nasaktan nang labis si Chesca sa kanilang paghihiwalay ng Bikolano actor.

Pero sa tingin ng mga kaibigan ni Chesca, no tears will fall from their friend’s eyes sa kasalang magaganap kina Jericho at Kim Jones, a Fil-Aussie, on May 1 in Boracay. She (Chesca) is now, officially engaged to a former classmate, Tyke Kalaw na naghihintay na lang for her to give the go-signal for them to get married.

But, as Cheska said, marriage for her will come a little later pa.

Carla naka-move on na kaya Geoff, busy na sa kanyang bagong business

Only a little over a month after Carla Abellana admitted openly that she and boyfriend of almost five years, at kasamahang talent ng GMA 7 na si Geoff Eigenmann, have broke off, her friends say, she seems to have overcome na the pain na kanyang nadama.

Oo naman, labis nga raw talagang nasaktan si Carla, since minahal naman talaga niya nang husto si Geoff. Bukod pa sa naging close siya sa pamilya nito. At ganun din si Geoff sa kanyang pamilya.

It helped na busy daw muli si Carla, dagdag pa ng kayang mga kaibigan. There is, after all, her upcoming movie, So It’s You, kasama si Tom Rodriguez, who played her gay husband in the high rating series, My Husband’s Lover, on GMA 7.

And guess what? May bagong negosyo si Carla, a nail and spa salon, located just a few meters away from the house she was able to buy from her showbiz earnings in one of the Scout Areas in Quezon City.

Called the Nail Box, it’s Carla’s mom, former Seiko Films actress, Rea Reyes, and younger sister, Erica, na namamahala ng bagong business.

Carla’s Dad, of course, is Rey Abellana, a former Seiko Films talent din. Rey is still active in the business.

Carla’s lola, of course, is the former LVN Pictures prime talent, Delia Razon.
