Gabby excited ma-testing ang galing ni Jaclyn

Excited si Gabby Eigenmann sa kanyang role bilang Ziggy Carbonel sa upcoming series na Mundo Mo’y Akin produced by GMA 7. Lalong excited siya dahil makakasama niya sa series si Jaclyn Jose, who will play the Carbonel’s matriarch.

The eldest among the children ni Mark Gil, si Jaclyn kasi as we all know has a daughter sa aktor, the Kapamilya actress Andi Eigenmann.

‘‘Tita Jane (real first name ni Jaclyn) and I ay nagkakasundo,’’ sabi ni Gabby. ‘‘Napakagaling niyang aktres para ’di ako ma-excite na makatrabaho siya.’’

Also in the cast of Mundo Mo’y Akin, which will have Andoy Ranay at the helm, are Angelika dela Cruz, Louise delos Reyes, Lauren Young, Alden Richards, Jolina Magdangal, and Sunshine Dizon. The latter is staging a comeback in the series.

Mark, by the way, has a 15-year-old grand­daughter kay Gabby. Married to Apple, they have two more sons.

Sometime next month, according to Gabby, he is taking his entire family to a trip to the US. First time nilang mag-anak na magbabakasyon sa ibang bansa. Kaya sobrang excitement daw ang nadarama nilang lahat.

Pahayag pa ni Gabby: ‘‘Pi­nag­-ipunan ko talaga ang biyaheng ito namin.’’

Sen. Ramon, 84 na

Former action star and Sen. Ramon Revilla, Sr. turned 84 exactly, according to his daughter Princess Revilla, when he marked his birthday, Friday, at his mansion in Imus, Cavite.

As usual, a party was held in his honor attended by his loyal supporters and friends. Present, too, were his children Sen. Bong Revilla, Jr. with wife Rep. Lani Mercado and son Barangay Capt. Jolo Revilla, Andeng Ynares, Freddie Bautista, and Princess nga.

From Princess, we learned that her son Anton is now with the Viva Artists Agency headed by Boss Vic del Rosario’s daughter, Veronique. Princess also revealed that Anton will soon do a movie for Viva Films pero ’di siya at liberty na magbalita kung sinu-sino ang makakasama ng anak sa pelikula. Lalo na kung ano ang titulo nito.

Introducing si Anton sa Manila Film Festival entry nina Sen. Bong at Vic Sotto, ang Si Agimat, si Enteng, at si Ako last year.

According to Princess pa rin, it was her eldest brother, Marlon (Bautista), who facilitated Anton’s entry sa Viva Films as a contract star.
