Netizens abuzz over viral photo of 'clean' flooded subway in Japan

MANILA, Philippines - After Tropical Storm Etau hit Japan, photos of the aftermath surfaced on the Internet, including one which shows a flooded subway with flood waters as clean as a swimming pool.

In disbelief, the famous Chinese website Weibo uploaded the photo, which is said to be taken in a subway in eastern Japan city of Hamamatsu. 

Many netizens marveled at how clear the water is and cannot help but compare it to the situation here in the Philippines. One user said, commented, "How we envy you, Japan! Here in the Philippines, you can die from wading in flood water. Too much microorganisms."
