IN PHOTOS: Stories in Cebu by Scoopshot users

MANILA, Philippines — Contributions from citizen photojournalists provided snippets of events in Cebu the past month, from tragedies such as fire breaking out and rare shots of local practices.

The photos were submitted to Philstar.com using the crowd-sourcing platform Scoopshot, an app which allows smartphone users from all over the country to tell a story through images and sell them for publication.
