Dentist found dead in car

Non Alquitran - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines — A dentist was found dead in his car parked at a hospital in Marikina City on Saturday.

The body of Rodolfo Quiazon, 36, bore no external injuries when he was found lying on the reclined driver’s seat of his silver Toyota Vios (WPQ-195) at the parking lot of the St. Vincent Hospital Annex building in Barangay Concepcion Uno at around 10:30 p.m.

Police said the vehicle’s engine and air conditioner were running when Quiazon was found.

Maj. Virgilio Timajo, public information officer of the Eastern Police District, said Quiazon’s personal belongings were intact.

Micah Garcia, 26, the victim’s sister-in-law, said Quiazon talked with a relative on his cell phone at around 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Garcia said she decided to proceed to the hospital’s parking lot, Quiazon’s last reported location, after their family tried but failed to contact him later.

Quiazon was declared dead on arrival at the hospital’s emergency room. His mother, Josefina Quiazon, asked for an autopsy to determine the cause of her son’s death.
