Makati voters prefer Abby Binay – Pulse Asia survey
MANILA, Philippines — If elections were held today, “Makatizens” or residents of Makati would still want Mayor Abby Binay to lead the city, according to the results of a survey conducted by Pulse Asia.
Based on the survey conducted from Aug. 17 to 23, it showed that around two-thirds of 1,200 registered voters in the city voted for Binay as against businessman Ricky Yabut, former acting mayor Romulo “Kid” Peña and her brother Junjun.
The survey has a margin of error of +/-3 percent.
In the three proposed scenarios, the survey showed that Binay got 67 percent of votes against her brother and Yabut, 65 percent against her brother and Peña and 69 percent if she runs one-on-one against her brother.
