MANILA, Philippines — Severe Tropical Storm Emong (international name: Nanmadol) has left the Philippine area of responsibility, PAGASA announced Monday.

At 4 a.m. Monday, "Emong" was located at 570 km north-northeast of Basco, Batanes, PAGASA said today in its 5 a.m. severe weather bulletin, which it said was the final warning for this weather disturbance unless it reenters PAR. It is forecast to move north-northwest at 30 kph.

The state weather bureau said Emong, which has intensified, brings an estimated moderate to occasionally heavy rainfall amount within its 300 km diameter.

PAGASA said no tropical cyclone warning signal is raised in the country.
