Generals test Bulldogs mettle

MANILA, Philippines -  National U sets out against Emilio Aguinaldo College today with the Bulldogs boasting of a crack roster in the Filoil Flying V Premier Cup at the Filoil Flying V Center in San Juan City.

New coach Jamike Jarin, who took over from Eric Altamarino last year, said he has chosen the best players from the school’s Teams A and B after two tournaments where he tried out new player combinations.

“We played in two tournaments already by fielding teams from both our two teams,” said Jarin, the Ateneo high school and Batang Gilas coach who steered San Beda to last year’s NCAA crown before moving to the NU side.
