American tourist found dead in Boracay

MANILA, Philippines - An American tourist was found dead inside a rented room in a private resort on Boracay Island in Malay, Aklan on Monday night.

Police identified the American as Fred Harvey Lubia, 60. He was found lying lifeless on his bed, but without signs of injury.

Police said that the management of the private resort called them up after the American failed to respond to their room call.

Investigators have yet to determine the cause of the victim's death.
