WATCH: Derek back to doing projects with ABS-CBN

MANILA, Philippines – Three years after he left ABS-CBN, Derek Ramsay is back in doing projects for the network.

His latest project is the movie with Star Cinema titled “Ex with Benefits.” He’s starring in Coleen Garcia and Meg Imperial.

He’ll play the role of Adam, the guy who never got over his ex-girlfriend (Garcia). Until one day, their paths crossed again and everything changes.

The actor-host had a rift with his network in 2012 after he didn’t renew his contract with them, and instead he moved with TV5.

Derek even described the reconciliation by saying, “malaking tinik ang natanggal sa puso ko,” reports said.

He added that he’ll always be thankful to the Kapamilya network for helping him get to where he is now in his career.

“Ex with Benefits” is directed by Gino M. Santos and will be in cinemas on starting September 2.
