Responders, Kamao dispute UNTV crown

MANILA, Philippines - Philippine National Police and Malacañang face off for one last time tonight as they dispute the UNTV Cup crown in a rubber match at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Game time is set at 7 p.m. with the Responders confident of nailing their first championship after falling short three times, including against Armed Forces of the Philippines last year.

The Responders forced a deciding Game 3 with a tough 67-61 win in Game 2 last Tuesday. The Malacañang Kamao took the opener, 82-81.

For breaking a Game 2 jinx and finally winning at Smart Araneta Coliseum, PNP star Ollan Omiping is confident of the Responders pulling it off in the decider.
