'Lokohan': Napoles hit for 'delaying tactics' in pork barrel hearing
MANILA, Philippines - Senator Alan Cayetano thinks that Janet Lim Napoles' request to postpone her scheduled Senate appearance on Thursday is just a "delaying tactic" for the pork barrel scam probe.
"Lokohan. Delaying Tactics ang latest request ni Miss Napoles," Cayetano said in a statement.
On Tuesday, Napoles asked Senate Blue Ribbon Committee Teofisto Guingona III to defer the panel's hearing on the pork barrel scam on November 7.
Napoles told Guingona in a letter that she still has no lawyer following the resignation of Lorna Kapunan as lead counsel in all her cases.
But Guingona has denied the businesswoman's plea.

Cayetano also reminded Napoles that her right to a counsel of her choice is "limited." He also urged the alleged pork barrel scam mastermind to tell everything when she testifies on Thursday.
"She has all the resources. She knows the Truth. She has a legal team who had been preparing and studying her defense. Time to answer questions and tell the whole truth," said Cayetano.
"I call on Miss Napoles to stop employing delaying tactics and to cease from making a fool out of the Filipino people. I encourage her to tell all on November 7 and clear her conscience once and for all," he added.
Meanwhile, Presidential Communications Operations Office Sec. Sonny Coloma assured the public that nobody will be spared in the Senate probe, including allies of the administration.
"Ang konsepto natin ay iyong lady justice na nakapiring. Wala pong sinisino, walang sinasanto kung ano po ang ituturo ng kaukulang ebidensiya para papanagutin lahat ng sangkot," Coloma said in a press briefing.
