Bench has a new leading lady
MANILA, Philippines - Bench has a new leading lady, and it comes in the person of the very pretty Carla Abellana.
Carla is the daughter of actor Rey “PJ” Abellana and Rhea Reyes, the daughter of popular veteran actress, Delia Razon. She first caught the attention of GMA management when she auditioned for a role in Richard Gutierrez’s show, Zorro. Instead of giving her one of the three leading ladies’ roles in Zorro, Carla was given her own big break: the leading role in Rosalinda, a Pinoy remake of the Mexican telenovela, directed by seasoned directors Maryo J. delos Reyes and Gil Tejada.
This lady is also beauty and brains: She graduated cum laude with a degree in Psychology from De La Salle University.
Now, Carla joins the ranks of Kim Chiu, Shaina Magdayao, and others as she becomes an endorser for Herbench, the line of female apparel by the clothing and lifestyle retail giant brand.
In her Herbench campaign shoot, Carla shows her modelling chops (she also started as a commercial model) and is seen wearing the brand’s pieces of cool graphic-designed tops/dresses, pique shirts, plaid skirts, checkered pants and shorts, sexy tops, ruffled blouses, ’80s-inspired tops, striped button-down shirts, cardigans, tank tops, and other trendy pieces.
Expect to see more of Carla Abellana on TV and in Herbench’s in-store images and billboards.
The pieces in the latest collection are available at Herbench branches nationwide.
