Jinggoy, Lorna lead 56th FAMAS awards
Sen. Jinggoy Estrada and Lorna Tolentino led the 56th FAMAS awards last Saturday night at the Manila Hotel by winning the Best Actor and Best Actress awards, respectively for Katas ng Saudi.
Jinggoy and Lorna dedicated their awards to the late Rudy Fernandez.
Maryo J. de los Reyes, on the other hand, was named Best Director for Star Cinema’s A Love Story.
Irma Adlawan won Best Supporting Actress for Ataul for Rent while Mon Confiado was proclaimed Best Supporting Actor for Faces of Love.

(Resiklo); Best Special Effects — Ignite Media, Inc. (Resiklo);
Golden Artist Award — Ogie Alcasid; German Moreno Achievement Awards — Ryan Agoncillo and Marian Rivera; Presidential Award — Boots Anson-Roa; Lifetime Achievement Award — Paraluman; FPJ Memorial Award — Cesar Montano; Flavio Macaso Award — Wilberto Villamin and Dr. Jose R. Perez Memorial Award — Chit Ramos
