21st Awit Awards set Nov. 26

The Philippine Association of the Record Industry, Inc. (PARI) will hold its 21st Awit Awards on Nov. 26 at the Eastwood Central Plaza.

Artists from recording labels will render their songs as they give way to the awarding ceremonies. They are Sandwich, Sugarfree, True Faith, Nikki Gil, Urbandub, Hale, Johnny Cross, Aicelle Santos, M.Y.M.P., Pedicab, Julianne, Richard Poon, 6Cyclemind, Callalily, Itchyworms, Cueshé, Ronnie Liang, Parokya ni Edgar, Kamikazee, Nyoy Volante, Christian Bautista, Sitti, Toni Gonzaga, Janno Gibbs, Raki Vega and Karylle.

Star Records has the most number of finalists included in the list of Awit Awards this year. The recording label has 25 finalists, followed by Sony BMG with 20; EMI Music Philippines with 17; MCA Music, Inc., Universal Records, Viva Records and Warner Music Philippines with 13 finalists each; GMA Records with seven; Alpha Music and Galaxy Records with two each; Bellhaus Entertainment, Candid Records, Ivory Music and Synergy Music with one each.
