Mulawin stars join Encantadia
June 14, 2005 | 12:00am
The Mulawins, creatures that are half-man, half-bird which were first introduced in GMA 7s top-rating and first-ever telefantasya of the same name, will once again soar in the Networks newest and grandest telefantasya, Encantadia.
The strong friendship between the Mulawins and the Diwatas of Encantadia has been established in the first telefantasya, wherein both creatures joined forces to maintain peace in their kingdom and those of human beings. The Diwatas played a big role in the Mulawins triumph against the evil and subversive group of Mulawins called Ravenas, who wanted to overcome the Mulawin tribe and conquer the world of men.
Beginning this week, the Mulawins will visit their friend, Amihan (Iza Calzado), who now rules Lireo, the kingdom of Diwatas in Encantadia. The great Mulawin warriors will come to the aid of the Diwata sisters, Amihan, Alena (Karylle), and Danaya (Diana Zubiri), for their evil elder sister, Pirena (Sunshine Dizon), joined forces with Hagorn, the king of the formidable Hathors. Together, Pirena and Hagorn will try to conquer Lireo and the entire kingdom of Encantadia, and only the Diwatas, with the help of the Mulawins, can stop them. The Mulawins will also come to the aid of one of the Sanggres who would be mortally wounded. Who among the great Mulawin warriors would come and help save Encantadia? And who is the Sanggre whom they will try to save from harm? Would the Mulawins succeed in what theyve come to do?
Meanwhile, Asval (Bobby Andrews) and his fellow mysterious Sapiryan warriors (Brad Turvey and Gerard Pizarras) will continue to challenge Ybarro (Dingdong Dantes) to prove that the latter is the rightful heir to the throne of Haring Armeo, the late leader of the Kingdom of Sapiro. Asval is believed to be the greatest Sapiryan fighter, but how he survived the first Great War and how he attained his magical powers are unknown.
Watch the fantastic story of todays leading telefantasya, Encantadia, unfold weeknights on GMA 7, after Darna.
