MANILA, Philippines — After getting caught red-handed in a drug buy-bust operation in Quezon City earlier this month, former child actor CJ Ramos returns to the spotlight through actor and director Coco Martin.

Reports said that CJ will now be a part of the teleserye as the show continues to help former celebrities revive careers.

CJ rose to fame in the 1990s through his acting and comedic skills. He is a part of blockbuster movies "Ang TV Movie: The Adarna Adventure" and "Tanging Yaman."

Last month, CJ was caught by operatives buying drugs from a drug pusher in Tandang Sora, Quezon City. He admitted that he was using drugs due to personal problems. He was released from jail in August 9.

Netizens commented congratulatory messages for the actor on his Instagram post. A netizen said, “Aabangan kita good job si cj sana magtuloy tuloy nyb wag mo ng sayangin ang isa pagkakataon goodbless more blessing pa sana ang dumating syo.”

Meanwhile, another said: “Congrats cj lagi ko cnasabi na sana matulungan ka ng abs cbn makabalik.at ngayon si coco pa mismo ang naghelp sayo..galingan mo ha @cjramos.30 ..idol kita nong bata kapa..God Bless sayo.”
