Stars rejoice Pacman’s victory over Matthysse

MANILA, Philippines — Celebrities took to social media to air their reactions to Sen. Manny Pacquiao’s recent fight with Argentine Lucas Matthysse.

On his Instagram account, Kapamilya actor Gerald Anderson posted a video taken by him inside the arena. He can be heard cheering for Manny and his mother Dionisia as he climbs the ring after defeating the Argentine boxer. “Let's go Mommy Dionisia," Gerald shouted.

Gerald captioned the video “The WBA welterweight champion of the world & the real champion mommy dionisia ...” #mannypacquiao #champion.” He also posted videos on his Instagram story.

Veteran singer Gary Valenciano also posted a congratulatory message to the fighting pride of the Philippines as he said: “Every time you win, you make us win!!! Thank you Manny!!! God bless you even more. #pacquiaomatthysse Mabuhay ka!!!”

As a gift for the fighting senator, Richard Gomez posted a video of him painting a congratulatory banner for Manny.
